Haikus: Birds on A Stormy Day
Blue rooster crowed
the clouds opened upon
the painted white barn.
Rain poodles downward,
collecting on the filed
parched by the sun.
Surfin' on the wind
vultures float on up
then speed on down.
White Egrets lined
sentries on a parade route,
spartan and solid.
